Agriculture

Mission

The mission of the agriculture program is to address the educational needs of individuals interested in rangeland management, domestic livestock production processes and techniques, wildlife management, soil and plant sciences, and fire management.

Student Learning Outcomes

Students in this program will develop the knowledge, skills, competencies, and attitudes so they will be able to:

1. Students will develop a management plan by integrating the appropriate skills, technology, and techniques used in land management.

2. Students will critically evaluate information to make decisions regarding the management of renewable resources to achieve conservation and management goals.

3. Students will compare diverse perspectives associated with agriculture and natural resource management.
